CHAPTER TWO			الفصــــل الثـانـــي
	Population and Demographic Indicators			الســكان والمؤشرات الديموغرافيــة
	This chapter includes the following statistics :			يشتمل هذا الفصـل على الإحصـاءات التالية :
	1- Number of syrian population according to the civil affairs records by governorate  and sex on 1/1/2011, and their vital satistics such as births , deaths , marriages and divorces , in addition to number of Palestinian refugees by sex and  governorate of registration and their vital statistics .			1- عدد السكان السوريين المسجلين في سجلات الأحــوال المدنيــة حسـب المحافظـة والجنس بتـاريخ 1/ 1/ 2011 ، وواقعاتهم الحيوية من ولادات ووفيات وزواج وطلاق ، بالإضافة  إلى عدد اللاجئين الفلسطينيين حسب الجنس و المحافظة المسجلين فيها وواقعاتهم الحيوية.
	2- Number of population actually living in the Syrian Arab Republic by age groups and sex according to the results of population censuses for the years (1981,1994, 2004) .			2- عدد السكان المتواجدين في الجمهورية العربية السورية حسب فئات السن والجنس وفقاً لنتائج تعدادات السكان (1981 ، 1994، 2004) .
	3- For purposes of planning and development, and depending on the results of census 2004, the number of population actually living in Syria was estimated  by governorate, age groups, sex and place of residence  in mid-year 2011, and by governotare and sex on 1/1/2011   and  on  31/12/2011 .			3- تم لأغراض التنمية والتخطيط  و اعتماداً على نتائج تعداد السكان لعام 2004 تقدير عدد السكان المتواجدين في الجمهورية العربية السورية حسب المحافظة و حسب فئات السن و الجنس ومكان الاقامة  في منتصف عام 2011 وحسب المحافظة والجنس في 1/ 1/ 2011 و 31/ 12/ 2011.ء
	4- Here are some population indicators and demographic measures like: population growth rate , population density and fertility. It is worth mentioning that the data of  the Civil Affairs Records  include the syrian population living inside and outside the Syrian  Arab Republic . However, the results of population censuses represent  the number of population actually living in the Syrian Arab Republic on the night of reference period while conducting the census .			4- بعض المؤشرات السكانية و المقاييس الديموغرافية مثل : معدل النمو السكاني ، الكثافة السكانية ، الخصوبة . والجدير بالذكر أن بيانات سجلات الأحوال المدنية تضم السكان السوريين المتواجدين داخل الجمهورية العربية السورية  و خارجها . بينما تمثل نتائج تعداد السكان عدد السكان المتواجدين فقط ضمن أراضي الجمهورية العربية السورية ليلة الإسناد الزمني أثناء تنفيذ التعداد .
