CHAPTER EIGHT			الفصل الثامن
	TOURISM			السياحة
	This chapter contains the following statistics  :			يتضمن هذا الفصل الإحصاءات التالية :
	The tourism movement :			الحركة السياحية :
	A- It includes the arrivals ( Arabs and foreigners ), Who entered the country sorted out by nationality. The data source was the current statistics which was obtained from the Immigration passport directorate			أ‌- وتشمل القادمين ( عرباً وأجانب ) الذين دخلوا البلد موزعين حسب الجنسية واستمدت بيانات هذا القسم من الإحصاءات الجارية الواردة من الهجرة والجوازات
	B-The tourists ( Arabs and foreigners  and Syrians) who stayed in the country for at least one night sorted out by nationality and place of stay whether he stayed in a hotel or anther place			ب‌- السائحون ( عرباً وأجانب وسوريين ) الذين باتوا في البلد ليلة واحدة على الأقل موزعين حسب الجنسية وأماكن مبيتهم سواء بالفندق أو بمنشآت مبيت أخرى مع بيان عدد الليالي التي قضوها داخل البلد، وقدرت بيانات هذا القسم بالاعتماد على نتائج  مسح السياحة الوافدة لعامي 2007 و 2008 والمنفذ من قبل المكتب المركزي للإحصاء بالتعاون مع وزارة السياحة
	C- The hotel guests and the number of tourism nights for the arab and syrian and foreign tourists sorted by governorates and the quality of the hotel The data source was the current statistics which was obtained from the ministry of tourism . This part contined a set of time series for the incoming and guest tourists and the tourism nights			ج- نزلاء الفنادق وعدد الليالي الفندقية للسـياح العرب والأجانب والسوريين موزعين حسب المحافظات وحسب درجة الفندق . وقد استمدت بيانات هذا القسم من الإحصاءات الجارية الواردة من وزارة السـياحة وقد ضم هذا القسـم   مجموعة سلاسـل زمنية مبينة لكل من القـادمين والـنزلاء والليـالي السـياحية
	The departing syrians :			السـوريين المغـادرين :
	It contains all syrians leaving the country for tourism purposes . The data source was from the ministry of  interior			ويشـمل جميـع السـوريين المغـادرين من البلد  وقد استـمدت بيـاناته من إدارة الهجرة والجوازات في وزارة الداخلية .
	The hotels :			الفنادق :
	It includes the number of the hotels in the country and their distribution by the quality of the hotel , the number of beds and rooms and the governorates . The data source is the ministry of tourism			ويتضمن عدد الفنادق في البلد وتوزعهم حسب درجة الفندق وعدد الغرف والأسرّة وحسب المحافظات . وقد استمدت بياناته من وزارة السياحة
	Damascus international fair :			معـرض دمشـق الدولـي :
	It contains data about the number of participating countries ( Arabs and foreign ) and about the number of visitors who visited the fair for a number of years the data source was the adminstration of the fair			يتضمن بيانات عن عدد الدول المشتركة (عربية وأجنبية) وعدد الزوار الذين زاروا المعرض لعدد من السنوات واستمدت بياناته من إدارة معرض دمشق الدولي
	Museums and antiquities :			المتـاحف والآثار :
	It includes data on visitors to  museums and antiquities the data source is the general directorate of the museums and archeological sites			ويتضمن بيانات عن عدد زوار المتاحف والمواقع الأثرية الموجودة في البلد واستمدت بياناته من المديرية العامة للآثار والمتاحف
	Definitions :			تعاريـف:
	The incoming : every person who enters the country whether he stayed in or left in the same day			القـادم : هو كل فرد يدخل البلد سواء مكث فيه أو غادره بنفس اليـوم
	The tourist : every person stayed at least one night in any place in the country			السـائح : كل قادم بـات بالبلد ليلة سـياحية واحدة على الأقـل في أمـاكن المبيت المختلفة
	The day tourism : who entered the country and spent there at most  / 24 / hours			زائر اليوم : كل قادم يقضي في البلد فترة تقل عن /24/  ساعة
	The non tourist : who came to the country for business or stay and it includes the transit and the diplomats			غير السائح : وهو القادم الذي يهدف للكسب أو الإقامة ويشمل الترانزيت والدبلوماسيين
