الفصــــل الثـانـــي		CHAPTER TWO
الســكان والمؤشرات الديموغرافيــة		Population and Demographic Indicators
يشتمل هذا الفصـل على الإحصـاءات التالية :		This chapter includes the following statistics :
1- عدد السكان السوريين المسجلين في سجلات الأحوال المدنية :		1- Number of syrian population according :
حسب المحافظات و الجنس بتاريخ 1/ 1/  2008 . وواقعاتهم الحيوية من ولادة ووفاة و زواج وطلاق . إضافة إلى عدد اللاجئين الفلسطنيين حسب الجنس و المحافظات المسجلين فيها وواقعاتهم الحيوية  .		to the civil registration records by mohafazat and sex at 1 / 1 /2008 and their vital satitics such as births ,deaths , marriages and divorces , In addition to number of Palestinian refugees by sex and mohafazat of registration and their vital statistics .
2- عدد السكان المتواجدين في الجمهورية العربية السورية حسب فئات السن و الجنس طبقا لنتائج تعدادات السكان (1981 ، 1994  ، 2004  )		2- Number of population actually living : in the Syrian Arab Republic by age group and sex according to the results of 1981 , and 1994 population censuses Data were effective at the date of each census 2004*.
3- لأغراض التنمية و التخطيط ، تم تقدير عدد السكان المتواجدين في الجمهورية العربية السورية حسب المحافظات و حسب فئات السن و الجنس ومكان الاقامة  في منتصف عام 2008 وحسب المحافظات والجنس في 1/ 1/ 2008 و2008/12/31  التقديرات وفقا لنتائج تعداد السكان لعام 2004 *		3- For purposes of planning and : development the number of popalation actually living in Syria at mid-year 2008 classified by mohafazat , age groups, sex and place of residence was estimated based and by mohafazat and sex at 1/1/2008 and 31/12/2008  the estimate compleatecl according  the result of population census 2004
4-بعض المؤشرات السكانية و المقاييس الديموغرافية : معدل النمو السكاني ، الكثافة السكانية ، الخصوبة ،		4- Some population indicators and : demographic measures , population growth rate , population density, fertility
و الجدير بالذكر أن السكان المسجلين في سجلات الاحوال المدنية يضم عدد السوريين المتواجدين داخل و خارج الجمهورية . في حين تمثل نتائج تعداد السكان عدد السكان المتواجدين فقط ضمن أراضي الجمهورية ليلة الاسناد الزمني للتعداد .		It is worth mentioning that the  population recorded  in the civil registration system represent all Syrians living in and outsid Syria , whereas the results of population census represent the number of population existing in Syria at night of reference period
